Defining Moments

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. It’s important to reflect on those whose lives have had the greatest impact on your own. It’s important to share those moments with others. It’s important to create a memory bank of defining moments, because then you won’t forget.

After a lengthy battle with cancer, Beth passed away July 28, 2012. She’s now fishing with Jesus.

I worked with Beth @ ISCU for over 10 years. She was the most gentle, loving Mama to all I ever met. She had nothing but good things to say about anyone, don’t think I ever heard her say a cross word (well, MAYBE during our strike- she was so miffed she actually bummed a smoke from me!) I will always remember her fondly, with a smile on her face & a twinkle in her eye!
Love & Prayers to all of her family.

Vera, thank you for taking the time to jot down a few thoughts. Mom loved her job, however, above all, she loved the people she worked with and her clients. She had such a hard time retiring because she never wanted those relationships to end. And, as you say, we will never forget the twinkle in her eye. God bless you!

Linda, we were so blessed to have met you face-to-face. Mom often spoke of you and her fondness of you was evident.

Thank you, Shawn. We are so blessed by the commitment of family and friends who made the effort to be here with us. Who, in support and love, came to encourage us, but who also are grieving and wanted to mourn, remember and celebrate Mom’s life. We will all miss her greatly and I pray for you also, that you find the comfort and peace your heart needs. I love you!
